Welcome to rayogram.
The LIVERESPECT™ curriculum—freely distributed via digital download—gives coaches, educators, mentors and youth advocates tools to promote healthy manhood in middle and high school boys. Developed by the organization A Call to Men, the goal of this curriculum is to decrease languages and actions that degrade women, challenge harmful cultural norms, and decrease bullying and homophobia.
rayogram designed and built a website to distribute the ‘LiveRespect™’ curriculum. Underwritten by a grant from the Verizon Foundation, the site collects demographic information from coaches, educators, and community organizers who then download digital copies of the “Program & Certification Process Guide” and “Educator Guide with Lesson Plans”.
The onsite curriculum includes surveys that collect important feedback; one datapoint evaluated was the number of boys who understood the meaning of ‘consent’ rising from 19% initially to 75% post-curriculum.
A Call to Men’s LiveRespect™ curriculum has been embraced by a wide community of individual and corporate donors, NFL and NBA managers, coaches and players, and social activists including iconic journalist/activist Gloria Steinem.
“A Call to Men states the facts—[identifying] the roots of violence in gender polarization, and everything I’ve been talking about—but they do it in a way I cannot, that is role modeling intimately and in the present men-to-boys to show that it’s okay to be a whole person. ”— Gloria Steinem
